''This is a summary of "Gravity Rush", if you do not own, or have not beaten the game, I suggest you do not read this just yet. Read on if you wish.
"Gravity Rush" is a game about a young, beautiful, blonde girl named Kat. Kat wakes up in a park-like area and is met by a little black cat (yes, Kat and a cat). She later learns that this little kitty can control gravity. Due to this cat's star like design, Kat decides to name him Dusty. Kat later finds this man who needs immediate help finding his son, due to their house presently being detroyed. Kat flys over using Dusty's powers and grabs the boy. But instead of being named a hero, a savior, she is disapointed to hear the man yell at her for not saving his house as well.
Kat later runs into a man named Syd, who is currently a police officer. They become the best of friends. Kat then has to fight some Nevi attacking the town and does this quite easily. She becomes somewhat noticed by the town. After talking to a few people, Kat decides she needs somewhere to bathe and sleep. So she goes off looking for a home, and falls into an open manhole. Kat sees tons of sewer pipes, all different sizes. She finds a perfect one and decides it'll be her home. Kat goes off to find some furniture and items to make it more home like. She finally has a nice little place to call her own and now lives here throughout the game.
The next few days pass and Kat is called up by Syd, and is told that he is now a detective/investigator. He also tells her he needs help swapping out this sacred gem with a candy fake so a master thief named Alias (he can disguise himself as anyone). Kat agrees to do this, and after she has the real one, Syd needs her to bring it to him. Turns out Syd wasn't Syd, it was Alias, who then gets away with the gem.
Later on, Kat here's someone crying and goes to see where it's coming from. There is a little boy crying in a tunnel, who has become lost from his dad. Kat offers to help and later finds the boy's father, so she goes back. The boy is gone, but a door leading to another tunnel shows up where just some grafitti of a door was. Kat goes in it, and finds a strange realm with a pipe. She lands in this guys house who is apparently a creator of the world Kat lives in. His name is Gade, and he takes Kat through many different realms to rescue certain sections of the city.
In one of the realms Kat goes to, she meets Raven, a girl with similar powers, face-to-face. Raven is displeased with Kat helping rescue parts of the city, and does not wish to work with her. Later on, Kat runs into Raven again, and this time they fight eachother. Kat wins and rescues another part of the city.
Kat meets Alias again after trying to swap another gem with another candy fake. This time, she wants this to be they're last meeting. Kat learns that Alias can control the Nevi, but she still manages to kill the doppelganger thief. She then decides it would be a good time to rescue the last part of the city.
Before Kat goes of to Gade to travel to another realm, Dusty eats some strange snake thing that messes with his ability to change gravity. Kat has to fight more Nevi in this realm, and then has to fight a boss, as in every realm. But after this fight, the boss respawns into the real world. Kat beats it with the aid of a mysterious character, later found out to be named Yunica. Kat saves the last section of the city and goes off to explore the newly found place. She sees this young girl, no younger than herself, who seems to have lost a letter from her boyfriend. Kat goes down and down to find it.
She ends up meeting Raven again inside the pillar and they battle while falling farther down the pillar. Kat ends up unconscience in a cage in a strange village with only children run by a boy named Zaza who had lost his sister (turns out to be Raven). Kat also meets a new creator inside a girl named Cyanea. Kat and Raven have to rescue the kids from a giant Nevi boss. They eventually defeat it, and the kids are rescued.
Kat ends up back at the surface, but one year has passed. There is a new mayor, and the whole city is crwling with nevi and the military. Syd was forced to join the military, and doesn't seem sad nor happy about it. Yunica is told to get rid of Kat, and capture Dusty as a form of power. Dusty gets out, and Kat is thawed out after being frozen. The military had designed a new weapon called the Sea-Anenome. The giant Nevi from the village returns, and the Anenome completely destroys it.It then begins to go rouge and Kat, Yunica, and Raven work together to stop it. They succeed and end up killing the new, military, power-hungry mayor in the process. Kat and everyone now lives in the city, safe from harm."
Dat 'gedraai' van de wereld went overigens snel. Simpelweg je hoofd niet te veel bewegen.
